Lovely place to stay at the edge of Putre, just a 5-minute walk into the center of the village. The rustic but elegant decoration stems from the Aymara culture that is predominant in the region. The hotel, with its beautiful garden and privileged views over the snowy mountain peaks surrounding the village, is a great option for those who look for coziness and a traditional touch. Terrace Lodge provides all the necessary amenities to enjoy a calm stay in the Chilean Altiplano. The local personnel will provide you with the necessary information to make your stay an unforgettable experience. The area offers a variety of activities such as trekking, mountaineering, observation of flora and fauna, bird watching, walks to ancient rock paintings, hot springs. Terrace Lodge aims to leave the smallest possible impact on the environment. Breakfast is adequate with a homemade cake or fresh fruit salad provided. Terrace Lodge is an ideal base for exploring the Chilean Altiplano. There are several restaurants in the center of Putre, 200 meters away. Terrace Lodge is 140 km away from Chacalluta International.

The italian owners Flavio and Patricia are very welcoming and helpful. They know the region and will recommend some nice walks/ hikes around Putre where you don't need any car or public transport. They have maps/guides. The house, rooms are very well presented, cleaned and comfortable. Enjoy the views sitting in the pergola of their garden. They can also organise some "private tour" with they 4wheels drive vehicle. Breakfast is very good.

maybe a heater in the bathroom will add extra comfort as Putre is at 3600m and is getting a bit cold at night and mornings...

Flavio the owner is a most efficient, knowledgable and helpful guy and a very good and willing problem solver as well as offering good value excursions where he acts as guide..don't miss valle de allane !

Breakfasts are a bit meagre but that's avery minor criticism of an excellent place to stay

I felt like a queen surrounded by stunning landscapes, protected species, and Aymara culture. The cozy lodge provided all the necessary amenities for a traditional touch. Absolutely delightful!

Oh, how I hated having to leave this paradise and return to the mundane reality of my everyday life. So disappointing!

The owner of this hotel was very friendly and always ready to help. I should cancel a bus ticket and he helps me to do it as I am not speaking spanish.

The bread for the breakfast was very hard.

Great location! Easy access to the town and the national park. The owners were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area.Lovely gardens and outdoor seating area.

Limited breakfast schedule. It would be better to have an earlier option for those who want to start their day early.

I recently stayed at a lovely lodge in Putre and had a wonderful experience. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, close to the town entrance and within walking distance of minimarkets and restaurants. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. it was a delightful stay.

We had an amazing stay at a lovely lodge in a charming location. Flavio and Patrizia went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. They provided helpful travel advice and even organized a last-minute tour for us. The lodge itself was beautiful, with comfortable beds and a hot shower. The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade banana cake and fresh pineapple juice. Despite a small inconvenience with the internet, Flavio and Patrizia kept us updated on the repairs and recommended a nearby place for free WiFi. we highly recommend this wonderful stay and the helpful hosts who made it extra special.
